They dont really stop sins, I have gotten up to 5 in one run so far. The new mindblade scepter popups mean more ecto to be had on the way.
The only thing that kills me are the mobs of 2-more skeletons. More than shadow refuge can heal through. The trick is in nailing the skeleton skills with CoP for added defense.
EDIT: has anyone tried it in HM to see how bad they are.

I don't think they are meant to stop sins or anything else - just slow things down.
wasted some scrolls to try things out. They do hit faster in hm than nm and, of course their 100dmg skill recharges faster in hm which will make things a bit tough.
However, sliver targeted the skeleton first, which, if this is consistent, should help.

Am i doing something wrong here? I capture 1 skeleton and it won't let me capture any more due to an effect and i have to leave and pay the 1k again to capture the second! How are people capturing more then one in a single run?

Does anyone know if the 600/smite team (That I use to farm the aatxes/smites and to do the quest Clear the Chamber) works for this? If so, look out now!

Wow. Don't Fear the Reapers really sucks. I tried it about 5 times and kept getting killed in the Bone Pits. I ended up using an Essence of Celerity and I was finally able to finish it but I think the quest is just a bit too long. Even with the Essence I think it almost took me 30 minutes.

Also, once the Skeleton corpse disappear, you can NOT capture it anymore. So if you kill 2+ Skeletons, you lost out on the rest because you can only cap one. By the time it resets, corpses disappear.

Little tip for those who want to complete the quests on all characters. You can farm all the skeletons you need with one character, put them in storage, and complete the quest with everyone else.
600/smite after getting a stack off mobstoppers makes this very farmable. (abandon the quest repeatedly for more mobstoppers)

It is a pain, but look at some of the videos and the maps on p. 21 of this thread. It helps. Just knock down the threshers first then the collectors. Sticky ground is useless because they can still hex you. It took me 4 times to get it down, and the second run after that went much easier.

I finally got around to doing the second quest today - how annoying. I don't know the UW well (or, well, at all), so I kept getting lost. The KD skill was a godsend for that. And hurray for little corners clear of enemies that I could hide in to let my health regen.
I actually found the Terrorwebs more annoying to deal with than the Threshers, because of the environmental effect from the tar and the fact that there were greater numbers.
Still, though, managed to get through it on my first try. Took about 35 minutes, but that's because I kept stopping when I had a clear spot to regen health (if needed) and check the wiki map to try and figure out where to go next.
